Haven't seen any previous mention about this here but they are evidently closing down for good on 25 March 2026:

A somewhat confusing message. The company seems to be closing and will be continuing to produce some of the smaller scales...?

The 2mm and 6mm are already with another company, just up the road from me in Blackburn:

TY. Here's hoping the better 10mm stuff (their quality has always been variable) rebrands but continues.

That's a shame, some of their stuff was brilliant

Hopefully the 10mmm stuff will find a new home.

Bought a few bits-and-pieces over the years, so might have to do a "last chance to see" order for the weird and wonderful stuff in the bigger ranges!!!
(I know, even though it's fantasy  :o  ;)  )

Been brought forward to March 1st.

Flood of orders from those hoping to get one last order in has been huge. They'll take months to clear so Ian had to call time earlier.

Already done. Nas in Blackburn will be casting the 10mm range alongside the 2mm & 6mm he currently sells.

Much credit to Irregular for Pioneering the smaller scales.
Also their ranges in 15mm up for Wars in India and obscure bits of Tribal Africa.
I certainly wouldn't have ventured below 15mm without Irregular's extensive 6mm range.

I suspect they will live on in legend through the phrase "Paints up nicely".

That's great news: take the pressure off for making a panic order #:-S

As we know from our own Leon's indomitable industry..

There's often a significant delay between taking over production and selling the acquired range.

Transition for the 2mm range took a matter of days, 6mm took a bit longer as some moulds needed fixing.

Nas reckons early summer for the 10mm but I suspect optimism on his part. Pretty sure Ian pulled some of the 10mm line a year back over mould concerns.
