Below you can find a variety of support downloads for use with the Future War Commander 2 rules, all of which are available through our DropBox account here.

- Quick Reference Sheet is here.

- What's Changed? A summary of the changes from FWC-1 to FWC-2 can be found here.

- Old FWC-1 Army Lists can be found in a Dropbox folder here. These are all unofficial.

We'll continue adding more lists to coincide with our new ranges, along with some lists for third-party ranges.

Army Lists

Collective - Here
There are no individuals in the Collective – all are equal, all must serve the collective selflessly and all must give 100% of their efforts and energies to the advancement of the collective objective. Driven to inhabit worlds with harsher colder climes, as they are unwelcomed on more temperate human colonies, the Collective advances its ideology aggressively.  All able-bodied adults are drafted into the military – all industry, agriculture and technological development is part of the military effort. Perpetually on a war footing, the only civilians in the Collective are the aged, infirm or children.

Corporate - Here
Corporate worlds are dominated by vast multi-planetary business conglomerates, where individual corporations will 'own' planets, asteroid belts and whole solar systems while they advance their sphere of influence through aggressive commercial colonisation and terraforming. They will make and break business/military alliances as dictated by commercial and stock-holder necessity. They have no issues with forming alliances with non-human races – even against other humans or each other, especially if there is a profit to be made. They are avid users of Xeno technology, especially exotic metals, beam weapons, anti-grav technology and force-fields.

Empirical - Here
Dominated by hereditary families and ruled by a dynasty of Emperors, in many ways Empirical worlds follow a pattern similar to the old Earth Holy Roman Empire. However, their overall philosophy is one of considered observation and the provision of considered empirical evidence to support their arguments for advancement. Each hereditary family are all hugely independent, but they must elect an overall emperor or empress from amongst their number to act as a figurehead and to direct their overall policy and strategy. The hereditary families vie for position in the great councils that govern the empire. Each family expands their spheres of influence and power by discovering and conquering new planets, extracting resources and defeating their internal opponents with rhetoric and debate in the great council chamber. The different families have different insignia, heraldry and uniform colours, but their weaponry and vehicles are standard, being created and held in vast central armouries, audited by an army of bureaucrats. When not warring amongst themselves, they will present a united front to external enemies, especially those of an 'alien' form.

Free States - Here
A coalition of free, non-aligned planets and solar systems. Embracing free trade, freedom of expression and a self-determined ethos these societies have bonded to form a strong mutual defence alliance originally against the other human blocs. They are scattered far and wide across the universe, with an adventuring and pioneering ethos. They avoid conflict with indigenous alien races or other humans wherever possible. Their military technology is shared and so is relatively standard, although different states or even cities or orbital stations will have customised them to suit their own needs. Most military formations are mercenaries, being hired by a specific contract to defend a faction or undertake a specific task. Often that task is to protect a new colony, until it is up and running on its own feet and established enough to defend itself. Often individual colonies can be conquered by other more ambitious human or alien factions, then the Free States will conduct highly successful Insurgent warfare, often resulting in the expulsion of the invaders.

Griffon - Here
A radical extreme, authoritarian state – known by other humans as the 'grey-men' – Griffon worlds are highly bureaucratic and centralised. There is no ability to express yourself individually, order and compliance is the driving force behind their expansion. All activities are directed by The Party – if you are not a member of the party you are an un-citizen and a subclass. The Party exists purely to grow the state and bring order to other humans.  Griffon worlds are industrial in nature – they live in large communal cities – each family unit is given the resources that The Party believes their levels of devotion and contribution warrants. All citizens live under a high level of security and observation. All resources are valued towards achieving the advancement of the party, and that extends, willingly, to captured alien artefacts and weapons.

Protz - Here
Protz are an ancient scavenger race, operating in genetically related tribes or clans. They have no sense of smell, poor eyesight, will eat anything and will collect, cannibalise, and incorporate any technology they can find, steal, or acquire. They are by nature squabble-some and messy. They will breed dramatically if there is adequate food and a warm, humid environment and this can lead to the growth of huge infestations or swarms and a chaotic break-down of their society leading to aggressive migrations. They love bright colours, bright lights and all things 'shiny'. They end up in conflict with other races because they have no concept or awareness of others or their needs; and are perceived as a plague which can overrun a planet's indigenous inhabitants in a relatively short period of time.

Theological - Here
Ruled by a network of all-powerful elders, who are guided by a vast over-class of theocrats and priests, the Theocracy has developed a set of religious beliefs that combine extreme versions of all the major old-world Earth religions.  They are intolerant of any other belief systems and also believe that all of the 'alien' races are an abomination and must be exterminated to clean the galaxy for the coming of their ultimate saviour.  Their congregational armies are trained to exhibit anonymous, almost mindless, devotion and sacrifice, with a fanatical belief in their own superiority. The citizens of those other human worlds that fall under their control and who do not repent and convert are often used as human shields in battle, for the greater good of the faithful.

If you read the section on the army lists in the rules, it states that there is an indicator letter relation to profile. M=Massive, L= Large, S/L = Small or Low profile & if there is nothing indicated they are Average profile.
This is in exactly the same format as the old FWCI lists (to avoid confusion).
Cheers
