Thank you for the kind words gentlemen. I am hoping to get them on the tabletop this week for a game. If this happens, I will be sure to post photos and a report of it all.

I managed to get in an SCW game today, at the last minute it became a solo game at the local hobby shop. The scenario was generated with ChatGPT and was titled Los Olivos. The scenario involved an infantry company of CTV backed up with a couple of tankettes advancing north trying to secure an intersection at the village of Los Olivos (named after the nearby olive groves). Opposing them were two platoons of International Brigade. Both sides could count on some HMGs and mortars, although only one side would really utilize their heavy weapons.

After about 7 or so turns, I called the game. The International Brigade had managed to thwart the efforts of the CTV to seize the intersection at Los Olivos. The Italians were in a bad way, losing three sections of infantry, a tankette and having 2/3rds of their remaining infantry dealing with morale issues. It was an enjoyable game. More pictures and game details here on my blog: https://lecoqfou.blogspot.com/2026/03/battle-of-los-olivos.html, I hope to post more battle reports in the future.

Great to see them on the table

It can be hard playing solo, an opponent can help with the rules. Good that you enjoyed the game.
