I wondered whether to post this on 'Requests' but didn't want to get barred!
Any thoughts on how to model this look?

Latest Russian anti-drone armour. (allegedly).

Rather weird and hard to make out how it is actually attached to the tank, if at all. First thoughts are fine electrical wire, with the ends frayed to give that open ended look.

Wow - not seen that before.

I assume it's real, not some AI hallucination?

Is it to counter drones?  And how well does it survive driving around in the real world, and coming into contact with trees, bushes, walls, etc that look like they would pull most of it off the sides.

It's the track maintenance crews I feel sorry for.

There's a lot of annoyed chimney sweeps in the Kursk area I guess.
How do the crew access the hatches?
No doubt the Ukrainians will counter it quickly.

This seems like it might be from some Russian propaganda site - but the video shows the hedgehog armor being used on a Russian tank.

From what I can tell both sides are using all sorts of strange looking passive defenses against drone attacks.

It will only be a matter of time before the Ukrainians develop 'burrowing drones' (FWC eat your heart out - you all saw it there first).

I saw this photo recently on social media and my brain can't recognise it as a real thing!  It looks like someone's put some kind of water droplet / snowflake watermark over the top of a regular tank.  Are there any shots of it from other angles?
