Merry Christmas to you Far4ngn, and to the rest of the reprobates and/or gentlemen that make up this forum.

May the Dark Lord bless you with relevant ranges.

(He's a bit slow at times. I've been waiting for the Amazons since they were current technology. He does get there eventually. Maybe a few diversions on the way. I mean, I didn't see the Russo-Japanese range coming, but you turn your back for a moment and kapow! There is the heart's desire that you didn't know you needed until it's on the website.)

I hope everyone had a good day yesterday, however you chose to spend it.

I had a day centred on food - cooked turkey and many extras for 6, enjoyed eating it all! Then was so full for most of the rest of the day had the barest collection of cold nibbles later on!

Present wise little directly for gaming, though several relatives gave me money, so the Armoured Clash Sultanate big boxed set is now on order! Even book wise quite light on history books, just Al Murray's Black Tuesday Arnhem book.

My only present directly connected to wargaming was Adrian Goldsworthy's book "Roman Warfare (2005)"

Other than that I got a set of four, flavoured, olive oils plus a jar of lemon curd and assorted chocolate and pastry goodies I shouldn't be eating!

Also a cute little teddy bear, sold by the RNLI to raise funds.

I had my Christmas on Saturday - i.e. turkey dinner & presents with my daughter and her lovely wife.

I spent yesterday on my own.

Aside from the books ...

... my most gaming gift was the Revell 1:144 aircraft kits - Bf109/Stuka and Hurricane/Spitfire. Completed the Germans - started on the RAF yesterday.

My daughter really hit the spot with the message on this t-shirt. :)

I have been painting 20mm WW2 Japanese for the last couple of months.

Mrs Orcs bought me ( without any hints or sugesstions from me )  the vanguard book on "Tanks of Iwo Jima 1945"  I was very impressed
