PEM 1/2 done.

PEM 1 has the drone launch rail, 4 x turrets and a sensor pod.
PEM 2 replaces the drone launch with a missile battery. 


I spent a silly amount of time trying out various options for the big numbers. I played with the idea of putting one on a wheel, but think the "less is more" is better - keeping with the red/yellow scheme.

Next steps are to generate stats and a story for the PEM in Traveller; to possibly create an anti-grav PEM 3/4 ('cos the wheels are a pain) and then to put PEM 1/2 into a tussle on Eric.

Whether that will be before or after a planned 1810 Peninsula game is moot at the moment.

The PEMs are Wheely McWheelface and Wheelywheely McWheelface respectively.

Yes. PEM1 and PEM2. If you force me to, it will be Pam and Emma.

They are. PEM 1 and 2 are two independent vehicles joined into one mobile environmental laboratory; designed to carry a small group of scientists on an extended mission.

Having said that, it's quite capable of defending itself. The idea was something akin to the USS Enterprise NCC1701-D from Star Trek: The Next Generation.   

The story write itself. Eric, as  you may remember, had the mysterious buildings and high level travelways of a now presumably extinct civilisation. What better than a PEM to be detached to conduct archaeological research?
