Anyone have a recommendation for some new dry brushes?

Are Pendrakens flat brush range any use for dry brushing?

I tend to use old worn-out brushes for most of my dry brushing

I also use a one-inch flat artists brush for dry brushing dust. I sparingly put the paint on one side and brush the figures with the other side

Thanks...I don't have many worn brushes my recent ones have lasted a few years Kolinsky Sable from Acorn Models in Christchurch.

I use a flat synthetic one buys it's wearing out as I dry brush my bases.

May have to pop into Whitcoulls in the Wellington.

Like Paul, I use worn out brushes for dry brushing but I also buy cheap brushes from The Works, Tesco and similar. For large scale dry brushing I have a couple of makeup brushes.

In general I agree with the others, but to this point, yes they are good for dry brushing, and I often pick up a couple for this purpose.

I use a fairly massive flat brush. It's maybe 20mm across and about 3mm thick. I haven't used the pendraken flat brushes but would imagine them to be pretty similar, if smaller.
I often dip only part of the brush in paint for 10mm models, unless I'm doing a lot of them, so such a large brush probably isn't necessary for 10mm anyway. If you're doing scenery though, having the larger brush is nice, but not necessary.
