Under Hide on p.34 it says, "Restrictions on the number of units per 1000 points allowed in reserve do not apply for guerillas."

However, in the Tactical Doctrine table on p.74 it says they are limited to "three units per 500 points".

Which one is correct?

One is not mutually exclusive from the other.

Hide is a specific action and has its own characteristics
Reserve applies to a number of different options, not just Hide.
So if you have units in Reserve (specifically) then the three units per 500pts applies
If you have units using Hide the no limit applies.
(It's the Napoleonic Law principle)
