Sounds like a very unfortunate end to a long and distingushed acting career  :(

Gene Hackman was good in whatever role he played, though Unforgiven was an outstanding film for all the actors involved.

Dr D G Hessayon, of gardening books fame, aged 96. It is estimated that 50% of houses in the UK have at least one of his books!
