Well for us in Bristol, it's not too bad, with gusty winds and some rain. Having seem the images from further North and the disruption it's causing, I hope you're all staying safe. I just hope it doesn't affect the Battleground show too much, but I fear it will.

Just back from Battleground, new venue, a good show. Canteen was crap.

Met a few English chums but had two Scotsmen with me for morale support.

Bought some paint (various colours), a ton of paintbrushes (various sizes and tips), some MDF (enough for an armoured division (?), a book (which I probably don't need), and some Brunswickers (for a chum).

Weather wise it was snowy on the high roads, sleety on the low roads but we got there and back again.

Rained all day here but nothing of note round my house, however nearby Hebden Bridge has been hammered again  :(

Techno 3

Just VERY windy and wet.
The dogs decided that they didn't want to run around in the field..so they just headed for the pole barn.
At least it was dry in there.

In the afternoon I did my best bit of self mutilation for AGES..not with a scalpel, for a change. :P

Incredibly windy here at the moment, but it is forecast to die down in the next few hours...

fred.

It's not been that bad at all on the NW coast - Saturday a lot of rain, and fairly windy, but just wet and windy, no flooding. Today some rain early on and now, but went out for a bike ride for a couple of hours this morning and whilst some trails were pretty wet, it was all rideable, and we only saw one small try slightly blocking a path.

Techno 3

Apparently....around Techno Towers, we had 100mm (4 inches) of rain in 36 hours.

I've certainly seen the road, just outside our place, flowing much more swiftly than it was over the weekend, so we had it fairly mild compared to other places.
Our fields are sodden, but as they're all on a slope, it won't take long for them to get back to 'normal'.

Hi

Just managed to cram on to one of the few trains leaving Paddington yesterday (Paddington Stn. was ridiculous yesterday morning) to get back to Bath after a weekend in London, just don't talk to me about footbal, it's a silly game and football supporters are even silier!  :-[ GWR were doing 'engineering work' and had staff shortages yesterday (only found out once on the train to London early Saturday morning) as well as the storm to cope with. No trains between Swindon and Bath this morning. Glad to be home and looking out the window now, just sunshine, blue skies and a wonderful looking November day!

Cheers Paul
