Hi. A question.
Can a CO issue orders to off -table support if there' is no fac or faoon table (artillery and air).
In page 52-53 the rules say that the CO can request artillery support. It's only naval support (page 52) with a -2 to CV o can request no naval support too.
In the case of air off-table support happen something similar with the CO?

Thanks for tour patience.

Hi Jordi.
Check special rules on stats sheet for the Nationality you are using. For example any British. Bundeswehr or US CO/HQ can call off table arty or air. Soviets can allocate up to 3 arty units to an HQ. In these cases I believe FAO/FAC is not needed. If no such special rule then FAO or FAC  is needed to call off table arty or air support.

Superscribe is correct on both accounts.

If you lose your FAC or FAC (or don't buy either) and your army doesn't have the specified ability for your CO to call in off-table strikes, then you cannot use your off table assets in Commanded attacks. However, they can still operate using pre-planned attacks however, as assets.

So what says in page 52 about naval support is only aplicable to naval support, no with other kind of off-table support (artillery or air). Except in case the army has any special rule, isn't it?

Thanks for all your time.
