Rob Innsmouth

Hi folks
Nice to be here, my name is Rob from Bedford. Old time / old timer gamer, got back into the hobby a few years back. 10mm is my new favourite scale, particularly for large scale fantasy games. But also into WW2, samurai skirmish, RPGs, etc

I run a Youtube channel called Dragon's Teeth, and am co-host of the Innsmouth Book Club podcast (big into Lovecraft, Robert E Howard, etc)  Look forward to chatting!

Cheers
Rob

Welcome Rob.

What bit of WWII catches your fancy? Are you a 1940 Blitzkreig fan? Do you dash across the desert with the Desert Fox and his Italian allies? Or do you fancy a T34 and an open steppe? Mayhap something more claustrophobic, soldiers of the empire in Burma or the Pacific? So many choices!

Also, you can have my toad pills. I don't take them. They taste of yellow.

Hi Rob, Welcome to the forum.

Ignore Ithoriel, its a well none fact that any member of this forum would fail any form of sanity check.

So the fact you are here has already proved that you would fail it. :)

:D  For WW2, 6mm I was always partial too Eastern Front - big steppe battles and the like. For 25mm, 1944-5 Europe, platoon level or even skirmish. But yes, and now you can get the figures for all of them!

Thanks for the welcomes!

Hmmm. I do not deviate from the one true scale, and have found it excellent for a platoon + troop game. (Which may also become a company + squadron very easily.) Having said that, a 1939 Pz38t is a very different animal to a 1944 Tiger II.
