Pendraken Wood Elves

I hope this is the correct place to ask.

I just got my big package yesterday of five fantasy armies for Warband.  At first glance the Wood Elves seemed much taller than the other figures.  Has anyone else noticed this?

They are slightly taller, pointy hoods and all. The High elves also have tall helms (making them higher I guess). Maybe after spending all their youth hanging out with ents they grow a bit?

I think they're a bit taller than the Dragonmen, Undead and Goblins, but about the same size as the Barbarians?   The original sculptor (late 1990s) was probably following a Tolkien-esque route with elves being at least 6 + 1/2ft tall.
