1) What ruleset did you use in your last game? - AK-47 Republic (90s version) by Peter Pig
2) What armies were confronted? - Krapistani Warlord versus Al Kebab
3) Did you feel comfortable with the ruleset? - Very much, it's incredibly simple and easy to play
4) and... was this the first time you used this ruleset? - No
5) How many players were in the game? - 2
6) What went well? - We had an enjoyable time and it went down to the wire. My dice rolls were pretty abysmal, especially for reserves to come on the table
7) What could have been improved? Not much that I can think of.

1) What ruleset did you use in your last game? - IACTA ALEa EST!
2) What armies were confronted? - Scipionic Romans vs Seleucids
3) Did you feel comfortable with the ruleset? - Yes
4) and... was this the first time you used this ruleset? - No
5) How many players were in the game? - 2
6) What went well? - I restrained the impulse to go for quick local advantages and cavalry scraps I was unlikely to win, rather concentrating on holding a steady line together. Lee had the placement of terrain, and blundered badly by cutting the available space with a river which restricted her cavalry advantage.
7) What could have been improved? We could have had a nude Keira Knightly and Johnny Depp serving drinks.

Lord Speedy of Leighton

1) What ruleset did you use in your last game? - Aliens: Another Glorious Day In The Corps
2) What armies were confronted? - Colonial Marines vs Aliens
3) Did you feel comfortable with the ruleset? - Ish
4) and... was this the first time you used this ruleset? - In public, yes.
5) How many players were in the game? - 2
6) What went well? - Finding Newt on the first 'mission' blip, my collegue getting the rules straight off, a successful extraction, lot of laughs.
7) What could have been improved? Weizbowski not getting eaten, Ripley not going berserk early on, Frost not being able to open doors.

First play in our club, just two of us tonight, next time, eight people are joining in, it's going to be carnage!

1) What ruleset did you use in your last game? - IACTA ALEA EST!
2) What armies were confronted? - Ancient Indians vs Macedonians
3) Did you feel comfortable with the ruleset? - Yes
4) and... was this the first time you used this ruleset? - No
5) How many players were in the game? - 2
6) What went well? - The Indians shot hopelessly; a few casualties here and there, but no serious weaknesses. An impetuous attack by the heavily outclassed Indian cavalry meant their left flank was even as the summer snow, when the sun is hot in summer.
7) What could have been improved? Lee's ambush was in the same location as my ambush, and better armed. The result was unfortunate. I had one of those series of endless 1 rolls which kept the Asians fighting even with a shaken army long after they should have been running for it.
