Welcome to the latest Pendraken newsletter!

As the dark nights draw in and the weather takes a turn for the worse, things are ploughing ahead as normal at Pendraken HQ!  Let's have a quick run through the latest news...

M3/M5 Half-tracks released!

With our new designer churning out the new models at quite a rate, it's time for another batch of new vehicles in the form of a revamp and extension of our M3/M5 half-tracks!

This batch includes replacement models for our existing British M5 half-tracks as well as the two American gun motor carriages (M15 and M16).  Then we've added some new variants to the US range with the regular half-track plus the 75mm GMC and 81mm mortar (M21) versions now available.

We then jump over to our new Arab-Israeli ranges with a handful of M3 variants for the IDF.  Israel converted a huge number of the M3s but we've chosen the 5 most popular versions to add to our range: APC, recce, AA, 81mm mortar and 120mm mortar.

More Battlescale buildings!

Following on from last month's news, we've now received the second batch of Battlescale's 10mm range including the timber-framed buildings, mediterranean houses and some excellent bridges!

You can find the first set of releases on our website here.

Wargames Illustrated Awards 2022!

And now, a quick favour if possible...

Wargames Illustrated magazine are running their annual awards this month, so if you've been happy with your Pendraken goodies over the past 12 months, please consider giving us your vote in the survey here.

Maybe it's the Cold War Commander 2nd Edition rules or our new Peninsular Napoleonics that have ticked a box for you this year, but whatever it is we'd really appreciate you taking a couple of minutes to add your opinion.  It's often the case that the big names dominate these awards so it would be nice to see a little 10mm company fighting it out with the big boys!

Christmas Order Deadlines!

It's almost that time of year so with Christmas just around the corner it's time to start thinking about any Pendraken goodies you'd like to have under your tree on Christmas morning!

Please make sure to get your order in to us as soon as possible.  There are more postal strikes planned in the UK heading in to the Christmas period so the earlier the better for any orders.

More info can be found on our Forum here.

Books for Sale!

Just a quick reminder that we've got over 3000 books in stock in our shop, all of which can be found on the Google sheet here.  If there's anything at all you'd like from that list, drop us a message through the Contact page of our website and we'll get them sorted out for you.

Only 2 Shows left in 2022!

Our last two events of the year are coming up fast, with us down at Warfare this coming weekend and then finishing the year with our local Battleground show on 26th November.

As always, please get your pre-orders through to us at least 7 days in advance and we'll make sure to get everything ready for you to collect on the day.

Me too.

I've never read any recent WI so picked a 10mm one.

Never tried any rules published in 2022 either.

On the survey, I think the frustrating thing for me was the list of rules published in 2022 and Cold War Commander not being on there.  I know we're not the biggest company in the hobby but that's a well-known set of rules, launched at Partizan, with over 1000 copies sold in the first 6 months.  I just thought it would have appeared on their radar.

Survey done.

Picked the WI article I thought I was most likely to have read if I'd ever bought the mag :)

I'm afraid Strength and Honour got my vote for best rules published in 2022.

Sadly Cold War Commander II was not on the list  :'(

Done and added CWCII on the others bit of the questions where appropriate. Don't read WI so voted for an article written by a friend!

What Steve said re CWCII not on list, but there is a write in box at the bottom of the list - I wrote it in :D
