Well......The difference between looking at the forum and the tablet is something.

Using the tablet....It recognizes me as Phil2.....But I don't have the facility of marking 'all messages as read.'....I do with the PC.

Using my other 'Nom de plume'.....It doesn't recognize my password and says it will send an email to reset my password.....It frigging well doesn't. .....Maybe be it will in a few hours.

Using the PC....Can get into both accounts....without messing around.

Now (next) for a  one line message from Phil2....and see if I've got a delete button, to get rid of it.

Still well unimpressed.

On the tablet (now)....took far too long to mark all messages as 'read'.

I'm not sure how it appears on a tablet but the Delete button should be to the bottom right of a post where it says 'More', and then when you click/hover it shows 'Remove'.  Again though, I'm not sure how that looks on different devices and also how long it remains visible for on a regular account.

First 'Modify') Hmmmm.....Unless I'm missing it....I can only see "Report to Moderator" or "Modify."
I'll have another look after I've saved this.

Second 'Modify') No.....Unless my eyes are playing really silly sods, I can't see 'delete'

Third....No clicking on 'More'.....Just gives the options mentioned in the 'First 'Modify' .

I'm going to go into one of the threads that have you marked as Moderator, Will....Post something, and then see if you can delete it...well.... basically find a delete button.

Your Moderator 'flag' doesn't seem to be showing now..(It was before)..Though I'm sure I've seen you marked as moderator on certain boards.

My Mod functions are switched off to see how it behaves.

So far, so good.....I haven't seen any spurious posts, from the year dot, marked as unread.

I still can't see any delete button, even after just 2 minutes.

That's quite a standard thing, the message box can't be left completely empty so usually folks would leave a comma or full stop in there as a space filler.  I'd then spot that and delete the post.
