BKC for larger games

I previously posted this on the FB group but thought it worth enquiring here too, so apologies if you have already read this and thanks if you have previously responded.

Just wondering if anyone has tried upscaling BKC where each stand represents a Company, to allow the playing out of larger battles on a 4x6 table in a reasonable period of time?

I appreciate that this will perhaps require some adjustments of, for instance, groundscale to reduce firing ranges and timescale to perhaps an hour per turn to keep movement distances the same as the Army Lists.
Any thoughts/suggestions?

I e never done this myself, but I don't know why it couldn't be done.
