Breton milites (they didn't use the term "chevalier" yet). Behind them, French mercenary foot lend shooting support; a lance isn't always the answer to battlefield problems.

Robert the Weasel and Bishop Odo lead the real Norman milites. I know, the banners are a bit exaggerated, but couldn't resist it. Finally, the Brittany Spears bring up the rear in case there are fords to be taken or villages stormed. Famed for rolling a 1 and exclaiming "Oops...".
