A lot of effort went into both the game and the report and it really shows

Love it.  Shiloh was my first foray into 10mm with 10 High figures back in the mid-80s.

Oh my... how tempting to shove everything I'm working onn to the side and start my 10mm ACW...  :-

BBB has a great scenario for this battle which is great fun to play. We only played the first day, but would love to play both days as and when time and space allow.

Be warned.  I started my Shiloh project in 1985 and it still isn't finished insofar as I intend to replace the early 10 High figures with Pendraken one of these days.  I now have the entire first day at 1:10 in a variety of makes from 10 High, to Pendraken via Magister Militum, Wargames South and Good Ground.

Excellent report and photos. I echo Steve's comment that BBB's Shiloh scenario is great fun and eminently doable; similarly the Altar of Freedom scenario which fits on a 4x4 table.

Cheers, chaps. Andy, I have happy memories of you running Shiloh for us at the BBB Bash Day in 2017. I found your photos of it here:

Let's hope we can have another Bash Day soon!

For anyone who fancies a look at it, the BBB Shiloh scenario is in the BBB group files:

I'm planning a skirmish game first based on guerilla warfare in the Missouri/Kansas area. The regular infantry and cavalry units would then form the core of the main ACW effort... so much plans and so little time to execute them all...
