It might be worthwhile looking at Fantasy Naval rules as well, I know I've had fun with Warring Fleets, and in the dim dark past with Man'o'War.

Not sure if they are still available to buy anywhere, just had quick Google of 'man o war - warhammer - rulebook (en)' and a few links turned up, and Warring Fleets is available as a free download now, I see at http://site.twohourwargames.com/Freebies/WarringFleets-Complete.pdf

Might be left field but might also be what you're looking for.
