LOL! I was once 'helping (?) out' on my uncle's farm, post Poly. Sitting on a 'Clapped Out' tractor... (burst tyres, headlamps hanging off!)... towing a ('functional, just!'), baler round and round a Bl**dy Big Field on a sunny day... a LONG way from anyone (!)... singing what I could remember of 'Lili Marlene' (In English!).  8) ;D ;D ;D

'You Are My Sunshine!' would be a good choice!  ;)

Now... I am an Old B******! )  ;)

Just come in from a 12 hour day ... so may not be at my best ... but if these Churchills are supporting an American attack, they may well have been enhanced by some friendly Yank fitters. Secondly, wasn't the Bocage more of a feature of the US flank? The Commonwealth was more pointed at Caen, so hedgerow cutter were less useful.

Having said that, a Crocodile with those teeth is somewhat fearsome. You'd have to paint the cutter white and add some eyes on the horns.

The combination of the members of this forum and t'Interweb is awesome.  Thanks for the link.

I was 14 when that came out.   I told Matron only this morning that there was nothing wrong with my memory.   Now what were we talking about?

"English lyrics by personnel of the LRDG and the SAS" . . . LOL.

Very wobbly left front on that jeep as well.
