I'm not convinced the added bands on the shako would really matter in 10mm if it was just that, which is why I disregarded it. The backpack is a good point though, I tend to forget the change doesn't correspond to the headgear change. And it is highly noticeable.

That means
Early War - 1803-07 cylindrical shako, busch plume, cylindrical backpack
Mid War - 1808-1811 reinforced shako, busch plume, square backpack*
Late War - 1812-15 concave 'kiwer' shako, thin plumes, square backpack

I know the Mid War uniform is actually the most likely for the 1812 campaign but I have to question how popular it would be, I suspect the average parsimonious wargamer would plump for Early or Late (mostly Late) be nice to see it though, are there any others in existence?

*I think the cavalry and artillery remain Early/Late - I can't immediately think of any major differences for the middle period, unless shakos ...

Confession time Comrades, I use Pendraken 1809 Hungarians as Russians. My Hungarian ancestors would probably have me drawn and quartered for this affront.

Greetings

What are people thinking of using for Portuguese skirmishers?  Both the line and Cacadores are In March attack poses I believe.

Meh, British. At 10mm scale, is there really a big difference? If somebody don't likey, they can scoot off.

I'll be basing the Cacadores on skirmish bases, regardless of what pose they are in.

Minor error in the posing descriptions there, both the Spanish and Portuguese cacacodes/cazadores packs will be firing line type poses.

No worries, I'd knocked those down to 1 pack of each which takes your total to £85.10 on this initial pledge.

Thanks Leon; my mental arithmetic skills seem to have gone astray! I blame the unaccustomed heat here in the Higlands - fried my brain.
