Not sure.
A lancer in a Tarleton?  Perhaps if the British light dragoons cavalry in Tarleton come with standard bearers?
There's teh Navara Hussars not in dolman and pelisse but with chest 'ribbing' lace in bell-top shako, so French chasseur a cheval might do as long as it doesn't have the blanket roll across the body.
Some of the later Hussars had a busby like the French guard light cavalry or British hussar thats not in shako, do we have something like that? NBR18 British Hussar looks to be in busby.
Then there is the last plate in MAA332 of Numancia dragoons of a crested helmet with a quite large crest, with no plume, enormous crest in fact, bigger than the Wurttemburg one and on a par with 1814 Sardinian cavalry. Perhaps Wurttemburg NWU9 Jager zu Pferd might do, dunno if you can cut off plumes in 10mm without wrecking the crest.

I thought when initially discussed we included a generic French 'German' ally in short-tailed German coat, suitable for Westfalia and others - the German division is a perennial favourite and distinct to the Peninsula so would make a decent additional stretch goal.

Good point re the Germans, probably more useful than random selection of Spanish cavalry that would only be sold in small numbers.

Hello everybody! I've been following the forum for a while but haven't got around to joining - until now. I couldn't miss the new Peninsular War range. Here's my order:

1 X NBP1 = £5.50
1 X NBP2 = £5.50
1 X NBP3 = £2.95
1 X NBP4 = £2.95
1 X NBP5 = £5.50
1 x NBP6 = £1.85
1 X NBP9 = £5.50
1 X NBP13 =  £5.50
1 X NBP15 = £5.50
1 X NBP16 = £5.50
1 X PNFL519 = £2.50
1 X NPP15 = £5.50
1 X NSP15 = £5.50
1 X NPX13 = £5.50
1 X SCN-NAP8 = £6.00
1 X SCN-NAP9 = £3.00

TOTAL = £74.25

You asked for suggestions for the ADC pack. My preference would be for plainly dressed, business-like chaps: covered bicorne and cloak or greatcoat (avoids the need for decisions on epaulettes on coatees). With poses such as pointing, with map, with telescope - on standing horses (foot versions would be good too) - and maybe a staff galloper going hell-for-leather (in a cloak he could be a British 'Exploring Officer'). A suggested source is plate 20a - Portuguese Staff Officer - by Mike Chappell in Haythornthwaite's 'Uniforms of the Peninsular War 1807-1814 (Blandford 1978) - happy to supply a scan. This would make them fairly multi-national and they could do service as staff officers, ADCs, engineers, even generals.

I'll introduce myself soon.
Thanks.
