Waterloo buildings.

Hi guys,
Any chance off some buildings for Waterloo. Not just the usual one's but others too including Qutra Bra. Don't mind if there in resin or mdf. Need something for my Dutch Belgian troops to defend please.

Look at the Hundred Days range in Total Battle Miniatures, they will probably have everything you require.

It is a 6mm range, but a lot of us (not Ithoriel) find that 6mm works very well with 10mm figures:

There are other 10mm Black Powder era buildings manufacturers out there (e.g., Battlescale) but, alas, availability has not yet attained the same level of choice that 6mm currently offers. Timecast sell a 10mm version of La Belle Alliance and Total Battle Miniatures' 10mm church is very similar to Plancenoit Church. Timecast also sell some Leipzig buildings in 10mm. However, if Waterloo is your objective, you are obviously not talking about skirmish gaming,* so as Leman says, many of us are happy to go down a scale and certainly, with Total Battle Miniatures' 100 days range, you will have a very comprehensive choice for that campaign.

Basically, the idea of having buildings in a slightly smaller scale is to trick the eye and only on closer inspection, do you realise that they are not the same scale. To promote this illusion, it helps to avoid some of the smaller single floor buildings like cottages and stick to those with high single storeys (like farms or barns) or ones with two or more floors. Going for slightly smaller scale buildings not only makes towns look like towns (because you have more buildings), but each building also takes up a smaller footprint on your limited table space so certainly worth considering if your objective is to fight big battles. The height of trees and hills and the width of streams and rivers are other areas where most of us go down a scale yet no-one bats an eyelid.

* having said that, I've arranged to meet up with one of our forum members to play a 15mm skirmish level game. We'll only have my 10mm period specific buildings to hand but I'm hopeful that we'll soon overlook this as we get absorbed in the game.

I have found recently that 10mm ACW buildings work very well with 15mm figures. Again most useful when a settlement is involved in the scenario. Widow Twanky's isolated farm at Brace's T-junction can readily be conjured in the same scale as the figures.

It also avoids game problems:
The walls of the chateau are longer than a cannon shot.
Your archers on the battlements can't reach the enemy across the moat.
Or your Paras can't shoot Jerry at the far end of the Rijnbrug.

Leven also make some excellent buildings in 6mm for the Waterloo
battlefield.

Leven has been a great help in building up the architectural component of my battlefields. I wish they'd do a few for the far east.

I have most off the TBM 100 days campaign buildings. I find there a bit small against the 10mm figures. My Dutch shakos are level with the top of the walls.

The advantage of card is you can build variations by printing out multiples sets and cobbling them together in a variety of ways.
The same publisher also does "6mm/10mm" terrain items.

After the obvious success of the Peninsula kickstarter which included a welcome inclusion of Spanish buildings, I would second arrange of Napoleonic European buildings which could be used to build various sized farm complexes to your own specifications.
You could use codes SCN-WLH20 through to SCN-WLH32 for outer walls.
Then a small range of new buildings;

Large farmhouse
Barn
Cow shed/ dairy
Stables
Pigsty
Small farmhouse

If this was successful then maybe expand to include;

Large house 2 variants ?
Small house 2 variants. ?
Church
Coaching inn
