Well my wife was there with me, and there was no trouble (yet)

She even bought herself the same headlight/ magnifier as i did, for her hobby, so we are getting her in the right direction!

A pin vise is used by modellers. A pin vice is practised by sadists.

Not this year, didn't spot any (read that as: the stand that usually carries the mouselings is always at the back of the venue, and the budget only covered 3/4th of the trip through the venue  ;D )

Oooft! What a haul!

It is quite ok. Must admit i kind of held of on buying stuff this year, instead opting to just buy everything in one big spend and saving a lot of shipping.

Worked pretty well.

fred.

That was a lot of stuff Peter! Very disciplined to not buy during the year, then pick it all up at a show.

The landing craft look really good - Leon could do to pinch those photos to use on the website.

Well i did get a few presents over the year, a d&d board game for my birthday and some gaming mats in a sale, but nothing else. I wanted to try and plan a project (peninsular nappies for sharp practice) and buy it all at once with noshipping.

Yes the landing craft are great, will paint these up very soon!

Just finished prepping all the metal 28's i bought yesterday.

So that's the eagle figures, perry miniatures and bolt action mortars all prepped, based and ready for painting.

FierceKitty

Should finish first Huscarls and King Viljar Vandrikkar by lunch today.

The "a bit every day" rule is helping the Norse warriors along valuably (they are quite numerous).

finished up the first of my crisis buys: all items from the bargain bin at emperor toads. (cost 2 euro a piece, got 6 for 10 €  :D :D )

a small scale bridge

a repaint of the small scale ruins (i did this with my others as well last year, they were a bit too bright)

And the resin bunker i got (i added a spare bolt action mg34 and gunshield to make it a tobruk bunker)

with warlord models for scale:

Adding 3 to the model count: 603 models finished!

and the tally : This brings us to about 5703 models are painted and 2319 models are still waiting for love.

also assembled my pworks mdf scenery this afternoon, will use for things like mordheim, but could be useable for historical stuff as well!

Now painting the stuH42!

petercooman

Got the stuH finished!
