I was looking at the newest post from Fred and his WWII project. He showed a great picture of his painting desk, and it looks a lot like mine. You can see the small square of space I have to paint in. I actually do all of the modeling and conversion work on the floor of my study!

Would enjoy seeing others painting area.

A similar situation - where to actually paint and model.

I have a custom built desk next to my 12x4 foot table so space is not a problem.

A gate-leg table, first piece of furniture my parents ever bought and also roughly the same age as me, doing service as a painting table, in my living room.

Hmmmm.....

After photos of neat painting areas, there is NOOOO chance of anyone having a look at mine. I face more than enough ridicule on a daily basis to invite more scorn to be heaped upon myself.....

You are sooooo far from alone, bro'.

Aw come on Grumpy! Can't be any worse than mine.

Loved seeing the others posted, and all have a very familiar look save one - lots of modeling stuff and little room to work!

Not a chance.....Though I have got a little more room in the middle of the table, than some of you.....But then I don't have paints all over the top....Just dental tools, reference material and an awful load of crud.

That's just made me realise that there's another name I missed off the list of potential oiks, regarding the plasters I got sent. HE took a photo of my desk.....AHA!!

I dream of my own painting space!

Hear, hear.....And this man thinks he's a figure painter.....Not nearly chaotic enough !!  ;) ;)

Oh...how I wish my 'work space' had some sort of semblance of order.....Instead of being such a frigging mess.

So I should have left the dead cat being feasted on by giant hairy spiders then, after two weeks I was getting used to it and it gave me something to stick my brushes in. :D
