Sad to learn of Peter Sallis' passing. 😕 I remember him as Mr. Gudgin in The Ghosts of Motley Hall.

Just read that Vin Garbutt a folk singer from Middlesbrough has died. Whilst his style may not have been to everyone's liking, I enjoyed his shows a lot. I was lucky enough to meet and drink with him on several occasions in the Knight's social club in Middlesbrough, often after Boro matches. He was a very down to earth man, who loved people and making music, as well as encouraging others to play too. Usually he had his guitar with him and we would often get an impromptu mini concert.

A sad loss to the music scene.  :(

Yes, that rings a bell, the Welly was an odd pub then  :) Last time I was in there it was an awful place, sh*t beer, sh*t music and the worst elements of Boro life

Any idea what Steve Curtis is up to these days?

Stephen Furst best known for Flounder in Animal House and Vir in Babylon 5 has passed away aged 63
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

Now it's Stephen Furst, I remember him and Peter Sallis (now both sadly left us ) playing Gestapo men in a BBC children's series about escaping POWs.
