A day off, so I had a lovely day painting in the shade and breeze of the gardens.

Good couple of days off, only Spears, pikes, standard poles, shields and tidying up to do on the Muscovites commission.

Four hours of painting today,
Mostly attaching shields and spears to 15mm models, undercoating, reattaching, base coating, reattaching, inking...
And more reattachment...

But in other news, it's my first ever day of paid leave that I have chosen to take  in thirty years.

Sounds annoying to have to reattach so many times! Poor glue, or lack of good attachment points?

Two units of Commission figurine skirmishers finished this morning, bar flocking. Want to make sure the lacquer is dry first...

Two packs of Young Guard arrived on Friday.
They only need basing now to be ready for Wednesday. 
Not bad considering I was working Friday and Saturday.
