I hate two man machine gun teams...unless the gun happens to be being used in a prone position.* ~X( ~X( ~X(

I gotta headache. X_X

Just the loader's arms to finish....(It had better work, or there will be some very industrial language.)

Cheers - Phil. ;)

* Those are a piece of absolute wee to make, compared to this one.

Lord Kermit of Birkenhead

What type of gun ? An advancing Bren would have the weapon in the left hand by the carrying handle, not by the underside of the barrel, that gets rather warm. No 2 would be carrying one or two boxes, each with 10 mags in, rifle slung. BAR - no number 2, used as a one man weapon. Germans - similar although the the no 2 often only had a pistol, and would be swathed in belts. The gun has no carrying handle (both types) so would have to hold by the bipod.

Which nationallity you doing Phil.

That Goryunov, Ian......I've made at least 15 other figures while I've been playing with this one this one, off and on.

I keep looking at it...thinking....Nah, I'll do something else......But have at last decided I'll have finish the swine off.  ;D ;D ;D

It's for the Egyptians, Matey.

Cheers - Phil. :)

Lord Kermit of Birkenhead

Thats a wheeled mount then - gunner on the trail and loader kneeling on lying to left/right depending on the feed. Should be no trouble with that one.

Thanks, Ian. :)

I've 'copied' an old b/w piccy of the gun itself, that's sitting on top of an outcrop of rock......so  the trail would go through the gunners stomach, if it went straight back.

It's almost as if they're using the rock surrounding them as a big foxhole

He must have the trail angled to his left...which is what I've done......He'd still have a decent firing arc, I guess.
Loader's on the left side on this particular gun. (Apparently.....That was a pain as well.  ;D ;D ;D)

Cheers - Phil :)
