Dear all out there in Pendraken Land;

First, are there ANY active Wargames clubs in SE London/Bromley area, please? I have been interested for 35 years but almost never played a game. I have bought a LoA army and in the past built Langton's ships, and would actually like to play with something for a change.

Secondly a plea. If you have a club with an on-line presence PLEASE make sure you can be contacted on the details you provide. 4 years of searching and attempting to make contact with the clubs shows that not one of them can be contacted on-line or phone. No names no pack drills but I am sure it isn't just me!

South East London Wargames Group (SELWG)?   They run a big show at the Crystal Palace on October 9th.

Tried contacting but details don't seem to be correct? They were my first port-of-call.

or even The Warlords

I'm not South just East (E17) but welcome visitors.

Really outside of the Nottingham Hub you're in probably in and around the highest concentration of wargaming on the planet, you should find someone local to you, of course wargaming being what it is they'll play the wrong period with the wrong rules in the wrong scale, but hey, ho!

Wotcha from me in Maidstone -not too far down the M20 from Sarf Lundun. If you have no further luck on the tinterweb, I suggest you go to the Crystal Palace show and check out some of the games there; have a chat with the various clubs and see if you can find one. Most of these will be reasonably local.
