Why not a french category ?

English were only there as allies/impartial observers - probably on their holidays.

1712: Denain

French stuffed the Dutch and Austrians.

No English involved.

1745: Fontenoy

French stuffed the Dutch and Austrians.  Again.

There were some British there, but we'd only turned up to have a 'home ground' ruck with the Irish Brigade (fighting for the French).
