Hi,
It would be nice if we could have a french section here for French, Belgians, Canadians, Suisses, Luxembourgers ...  ;D

Megamatman

Hi,

We'll be having a poll sometime next week to decide on new boards and boards that need deleting/merging.

I'll make a note of you're request and make sure its included.

Thanks for the feedback! :)

You could always create it yourself Nicofig just by posting stuff in French...the rest of us will try to keep up - probably using Franglais  ;D

My French is a bit ropey, but I can always use the Google Translator!

Unlike some people, I feel under no obligation to pretend that only one war-gaming scale is true, and that any others 6mm/10mm/15mm/25mm are mistaken; or that I know better than people themselves what is right for them to use. The point is precisely for all war-gamers to decide for themselves.

Normans...their grandfather's were vikings so fair enough.  Not French.

Quote1214: Bouvines

French killing Flander/Flemish, and Boulogne/Normans.

English were only there as allies/impartial observers - probably on their holidays.

Quote1712: Denain

French stuffed the Dutch and Austrians.

No English involved.

Quote1745: Fontenoy

French stuffed the Dutch and Austrians.  Again.

There were some British there, but we'd only turned up to have a 'home ground' ruck with the Irish Brigade (fighting for the French).

Mmmm, we have every reason to hate the Yanks. They hav inflicted the following on the world: contract bridge, jazz, Stanley Kubrick, Richard Wilbur, Scott Fitzgerald, Andrew Wyeth, the Chryser Building, Frank Lloyd Wright, Manhattan clam chowder, Arthur Miller, Susan Sontag, Tom Robbins, Robert Altman....
    Barbarians, aren't they?
