The undead and eldritch share the same general. Except that the former has two different kinds, vampire  and undead.
Souldn't the eldritch list also have that distinction ?
Especially if only the vampire lord should benefit optons as in the undead list?

The undead come from entire lands of undeath, so their lords are undead too.  These dark places may attract vampires and corrupt living necromancers, but they are basically places of the dead.

The eldritch vampires are more your Transylvannian 'Dracula' style lands.  Most people there are living thralls to the vampire overlords.  So the undead lords have no sway there.  In fact in those lands only the vampires and revenants are undead.  :)

Ok so what is the fluff about higher vampire lords (faster with more attack and protection ) and the lower ones?
Dracula bs Stefan Salvatore?

Warband has only really sketched out enough 'fluff' to add some flavour to the armies.

This has been a deliberate approach to allow you to take the armies and make them your own, rather than dictating what they should be, how they should look, etc.   :D

:-\

I would say, higher vampires are older, more experienced, and therefore more powerful?   :-/

Or perhaps a bit like Vampire the Masquerade, they're 'higher generation' more pure and more powerful versions?

Its really up to you!
