Hello All

I was looking around for some pulp bits and bobs and I came across this page http://www.sixtant.net/2011/artigos.php?cat=u.s-navy-bases-in-brazil-*&sub=u.s-navy-bases-%2828-pages--199-images%29&tag=3%29usn-naf-amapa which shows information about a US base in the Brazilian jungle that flew anti-submarine blimp patrols.

How could you not like this page  :)?

Looking at the rest of the site there is a good bit of information about the war in this locale (not something that usually springs to the forefront when discussing WW2):-

Who couldn't be interested by a topic called 'Rubber for Victory'.

An interesting site, I will explore further when I get a chance

We tend to over look the contributions of the smaller allies, for example the Brazilian Expeditionary Force in Italy or the Mexican Air Force (Aztec Eagles) in the Philippines and Formosa

Thanks very much for the link, especially as it has a lot of stuff on the Graf Spee's operations in the South Atlantic that I have never seen before.
