More threadomancy from Shropshire.

Can we add to the emoticons ourselves or not? There are about a gazillion out there and brighten up otherwise bland posts. I know over at WD3 (about the only other forum I can bring myself to read) they have alot of extras. I feel the need for more than at present to express myself more fully to forum members. Its the thespian in me you know. :-*

There isn't anything to stop you using animated gifs or other images from elsewhere on the net (as long as they don't include advertising)

e.g.

I'll see what I can do about expanding the smileys tomorrow.

Thanks for the feedback  8)

To be fair, the certificates haven't actually arrived yet. We sent £250 each to a nice man in Nigeria about a month ago; should turn up any day now.  :-bd

It's hard to get a decent diagnosis these days. Of course a regular psychiatrist wouldn't touch these chaps with a barge pole...

Um, Nik, you may have given Leon ideas for a whole new series of fantasy models.

Undead facehugging monstertubbies from outer space. Crabwalking lizardtubbies. Halfling tubbietaurs ...

I think I'm going to be .. :-&

Cheers,

Nope, they're just standard Unicode characters.

I actually pasted them in to see if the preview thingy was working again and accidentally posted them instead of previewing ... which it turns out doesn't work still anyway. Doh!

I'm guessing, Bob, that it was a thread started right at the very beginning of the forum, when the folk there at the time were deciding on which smileys (?) to add.
Odd, new ones that have appeared in relatively recent times, are those that have been 'discovered' as 'extra'.
Leon would know. ;)

Big invite to Middlesbrough (for the birthday cake slicing) and then lots of 10mm games laid out for our enjoyment  ;)
