Loving the show and can't wait for next season in Autumn...
So...modern zombies please!!
And modern zombie hunters / survivors.
<)
Absolutely, seriously good show.
ooh isn`t rick turning nasty.
But will they stick to the comics? or suprise us
I vote for this from Season One:

watched the first series, but got a bit over zombied to be honest, so stopped watching it... maybe it was a state of mind, but had loads saved on sky + and deleted them without watching them after the shane shot the guy in the school
And i was at King Alfred's College with Lauren Cohan...http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1659348/ (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1659348/)

I'm rooting for him and his miserable wife to take a bit or two...
By the way, anyone who's read the graphic novels...
NO SPOILERS PLEASE!!
All we need more zombies.
They have made a point of changing things from the graphic novels, so that for people like me who have read them it is tweaked enough to to be interestingly different. Shane being a case in point. :)
Suggestion added!
Two hours wargame have a great set of rules.. if some figures are developed then I will get the ruleset... so yep, Have my vote for modern zombies
I vote for them too...With a somewhat ulterior (and transparent) motive ;)
Cheers - Phil.
I'll also vote for a SWAT team to go with this lot - I'd like some shrunken versions of my 28mm ones please Phil ;)

Those would be fun !
Cheers - Phil.
Various 'survivors' (armed and unarmed)
Civvies
Kids
Kick-ass hero types (Alice, Tallahassee, etc.)
Cops / SWAT
Army
Road warriors / raiders
Dogs
Bill Murray
Vehicles for the above
Zombies (shamblers...none of that 'rage' nonsense)
The above but rotting
Clowns
Nurse
Fat dude
Dismembered crawlers
Dogs
And perhaps a few mutants to go all 'Umberella Corp'?
Add my vote to the list!
Add my vote to the list aswell.
Vote for the vehicles - especially big TRACKED ones....
IanS
Bill Murray?? :o
This could be extra bizarre! how about bill murray in ghost buster suit! I would love that figure!
I express a vote for bill murray figure!! +1 (dress like a zombi, a ghost buster suit or lost in translation)
Bill Murray...in Zombieland.
I'd post a link but i don't want to put up spoilers...
Leon is their a 'hide spoiler' code on here?

Not that I know of! You could always start a discussion thread down in 'Chat & News' with a Spoiler Alert in the thread title?
OK.
Well.
In that case everybody needs to go and watch Zombieland right now. One of the best movies ever made (along with Charlie Wilson's War) and the best zombie movie of all time.
You tempter you !
Cheers - Phil.
My vote for Cops, SWAT, civv and police cars and dogs too.
Hi
I love zombie movies and would love to game the genre.
If I may suggest a rule set that I have played with zombies in 15mm and had a great time.
They are an supplement of the ambush alley rules (can`t remember the name but there`s a z in the title somewhere).
They would need a little modifing as they are a skirmish set but instead of one figure is one man you could easy base several 10mm figures on the same base to represent a fire team/section.
Never seen Zombieland heard mixed reviews but the remake of dawn of the dead takes some beating.
Jim
It's "Ambush Z" Jim - and top-notch it is too 8)

Bah! You're obviously forgetting Shaun of the Dead. :D
(I do love that movie - but then I'm not a huge zombie movie fan in general so that might be part of it)
I reckon some zombie types inspired by the "Left 4 dead" computer game series, some specialised zombies
http://left4dead.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Special_Infected (http://left4dead.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Special_Infected)
that would be cool!
My vote as well please .
Another 28 days good movie .

I'm only having a play, at the moment...and these are anything but remotely complete....Note the lack of proper arms for starters ;)
But is this the type of thing you mean ?....Or am I missing the point ?
The chap in the middle is supposed to be dragging himself forward with just one arm.
Just so's you know....these are made on 'historical' size dollies NOT fantasy size....So they're shorter than fantasy...But around the same size as Sci-Fi.
Cheers - Phil.
Ace Phil, really cool, I would buy truck loads of these :) :) :) :)
AWWW Techno, this is going to be an expensive year if these get done in 2012 :D I see tons of possibilities with those figures. Instead of a prone dragging itself maybe it is raised up from the waist pulling itself forward with one hand and reaching for you with the other ;)

Now I have to get more zombies. Give those nice 70s-80s UNIT troops your making something to fight 8)

Might be a bit of a 'bogger' to cast in 10mm..(
Maybe side to side rather than as a flat 'top to bottom' :-\)....Might try that with a separate figure though....be a nice pose ! :-bd

I need them. I want them. More zombies for all. Techno, your prototypes looks great. Zombies are perfect counterpart for the new SF marines.
Fingers crossed.... I'll pop another pic up tomorrow.
Cheers - Phil.
So, ok, im getting a good vibe from this, i could definately get well into making a little game to fit this idea, when I have something written I post it here, but if your going to expand this into its own range (which as I can see on here you would surely get plenty of it sold!!) I would like to make a few suggestions if thats ok.
Ok, there must be tons of stuff you produce already that would fit perfectly without having to make any new models, but how about some 20th/21st century survivor vehicles such like and RV, van, sports car, car with caravan? 4X4, minibus, ambulance etc as well as some crashed ones, like a bus or cop car?
Plenty of survivor types, biker gangs, crims, hoodies, especially gangs on motor bikes ala original dawn of the dead. A dead reckoning from "land of the dead" would be cool too.
Zombie dogs for sure, maybe some specials kind of like resident evil/left 4 dead, plenty of different civilian zombies in suits, t shirts, radioation/toxic warfare type zombies too....hell yeah, any kind of modern day zombified civvy (ones eating humans would be fantastic!!)
As you can see, I do like zombies! ;D
I would buy them also!

Um.
Yes.
That's the sort of thing.
Make these and a bunch more.
OH lord...
And Leon, some 10mm modern buildings/urban scenery please.
Everything is better with zombies...
P.S. yes, the dragging chap should be raised up a bit more.
And i'll restate my list of range options:
Various 'survivors' (armed and unarmed)
Civvies
Kids
Kick-ass hero types (Alice, Tallahassee, etc.)
Cops / SWAT
Army
Road warriors / raiders
Dogs
Bill Murray
Vehicles for the above
Zombies (shamblers...none of that 'rage' nonsense)

Pretty much what Luddite said, except... I like 'rage' zombies/28 days later style as well.
And NO SODDING CLOWNS! They make my skin crawl more than the zombies.
Also, Piles of dead. Good for fantasy, sci fi or, more scary real world wars :(

half sharp under completely artificial light.....
I'll give it another go tomorrow or Sunday.
Sorry - Phil
(http://i1118.photobucket.com/albums/k611/technodestructorman/IMGP4341.jpg)
Try again !....Ignore the screwdriver handle in the middle.....I was using that to focus on ;)
The 'crawler'(s) and a couple of others aren't quite finished yet....The 'raised' crawler looks a bit waffy at the moment....Needs a fair amount of tweaking :'(
The 'hooker' far right is holding a 'chewed' arm.
Cheers - Mr Sick B'stard.
loving this stuff Phil :D
the second one from the left is particulary awesome
Superb Phil - excellent stuff 8)
Now, how about these for hunters?
Phil, those are looking great! 8) I would have to buy a good swarm/lurch of those.
Nik-never seen that picture, very cool :D
Ta Guys.
I'm hoping I'm hitting the 'right sort of feeling' for these nasty little chaps.
What I hadn't realized had happened was that before the camera went 'click/whirr' the corks had rolled a fraction....So some of the 'vermin' aren't really shot from a good angle.
Hunters Nik ?.....I think you know one that I'll do ! ;)....She's my favourite ;D ;D ;D
Dogs ?....Has Leon got any hounds that would suit for rotting conversions at some stage ?
Cheers - Phil
These are shaping up to be spot on.
Can't wait to see the kick-ass hero types (including Velma).

"Mummy..can we go and find something someone to eat now ?....Teddy's getting hungry."
To the tune of 'The teddy bears picnic'
If you go down to the town today,
You're sure of a **** surprise,
There's lots of zombies just wandering 'round.
They'll try and rip out your eyes.
They'll eat your legs and munch on your face.
It's just not on,
It's such a disgrace,
Today's the day the zombies are really hungry.

The krankies were asking for it :d.
Always spooked me out, along with 'to me, to you' who ever they were =)
Chuckle Brothers.
No they would be a scary pair of undead (they're practically old enough to be anyway).
That's them... 'chuckle brothers'
I feel a cold chill just typing that :o
To me, to you! ;D
How they ever became famous (Krankies and chuckles) is anyones guess, they are just sooo...wierd and crap!
When I found out Ian had been "doing" little Jimmy for years, it scarred me for life I tell ya! :o :o :o
(Please note: Fandabbidozi was used as an exited childlike expression of pre 10mm zombie froth in anticipation of pendraken's release of walking dead range etc. It was not meant as a homage to 70's/80's pseudo circus freakshow performers "The Krankies"! ;D ;D)
Here is a little inspiration for you!
Put on to promote AMC Walking Dead TV show.
cheers

I feel a
very silly model coming on, one day/never..... :D
Ah..... :-\...While I think of it....IF...
.IF During playtime, I get around to making a zombie dog at some stage....Would you all be expecting to have the front legs to be 'separated' ?...Or am I allowed to infill between them to.....?
a) Make my job a
lot easier.....The legs are going to be EVER so thin and probably uncastable if I don't don't do this.
(The alternative to this is to have a Doberman with legs looking like they belong to a small hefferlump.)
b) Make Dave's job easier too, when it comes to moulding and casting.
Comments appreciated.
Cheers - Phil.
My vote is for zombie dogs...as long as they're in 10mm and looking scary - I'm not worried about front legs being infilled...nothing that a simple black paint job won't sort :)
