Greetings all, I thought it about time I joined the fun !
By way of background, I live in North London (the red half!) and just about hanging on to my forties
I have travelled, what I believe is a well trodden path....Airfix kits & 1/32 plastic soldiers...Risk...Axis & Allies...D&D....Warhammer (Space Hulk in my case)...historical wargames.....pub....girlfriends....marriage....child...historical wargames...
WWII has always been my main interest, 1/72 the focus till I bought some Action 200 figures (Skytrex) in '87. Post a 'short' interlude I picked the reins back up on '06/7, the catalyst being a purchase of BKC1 at Salute, followed by multiple purchases of 10mm figures ever since (predominantly Pendraken of course!).
A more recent development being 10mm French & Austrian Napoleonic's to 'pimp up' my Commands & Colours - line infantry completed but struggling with cavalry!
Hope everyone is safe and well and look forward to reading the and maybe posting the odd comment on the forum (I'll aim to beat my count of 16 posts on BCK forum since joining in '06!)
Cheers
Matt

Welcome Matt.
Yes that is the well trodden path
1/32 soldiers - loved the Airfix infantry support group
Risk - To many games went on to the early hours as fortunes went back and forth
Warhammer - missed all GW stuiff
Historical wargames- Gush 2nd edition Renaissance - More factors for melee than troop types
PUb - Real Ales
Girlfreinds - Lots of fun
Marriage - Lots of fun initially, then wives become very expensive to get rid of
Mistress - Lots of fun but expensive (see above)
Children - The first 30 years are the worst
Historical Wargames - back to sensible pursuits
I am sure you will have fun here
Hello Matt!
Welcome Matt!
