Title: Richard de la Pole
Post by: Sandinista on 19 November 2019, 07:06:47 AM
Does anyone have any idea what banner he may have carried whilst in French service? I have found his father's and brothers arms but not his?

Cheers
Ian

Given that he was known as The White Rose a variant of the family "Poll et Virtus" standard featuring a white rose (perhaps in place of the lion, if I'm remembering the standard correctly) would seem a reasonable fudge, if better evidence doesn't turn up.

I created this based on his brother and father but was hoping to find his real coat of arms

Cheers

I'd be satisfied to bear arms like that.

Do you have a constitutional right to arm bears though, FK? ;)

I'm a pacifist, more or less.
