Phil's been quietly working away on this project for some time now, adding a sculpt here and there as he's been working on other things for us. But the good news is that they're all done now and we've got them here at Pendraken HQ! One person who will be rather excited by this (and is largely responsible for these becoming a reality) is Fierce Kitty, so we hope he likes them! We'd like to thank him for all of his time and effort helping us out with this range as well, chatting with Phil about the design side and then with me to put the range lists together. This lot will be getting master moulded in the next few weeks and should be ready for release early in the New Year.

Thank you!
Simply beautiful sculpts, Techno. Bravo!
And Kitty, what can I say...!
And I'm sorry about starting the sentence with "And" (twice) and ending with ellipsis and exclamation point, FK, simply carried away in the moment.
These shall be my last hurrah!
(Although the Mutiny looks pretty good too.)
Got something to look forward to next year. :):):):):):):):)
Wonderful figures! Not my period but beautifully done...
Cheers,
Rob
Seconded =D>
Those are wonderful 8). Not my period at all, but could be used for Fantasy games etc in the future. Heresy I know, but...

Now THAT is exactly what I thought (but didn't dare to write...)! ;)

Good work all. 8)

So, how many bottles do you have to empty before you become a tequila veteran? I could be one!
sorry couldn't resist.
Good figures.
Should stop the cat from mewing piteously finally !
Thanks, all !
Dave's just going to have SO much fun picking some of the teeny weeny bits of detail out of the moulds, when these get squished in the rubber. X_X
Cheers - Phil.
Some very fancy figures!!!
Could be tempted with some of these. Even if they end up fighting Lizardmen!
One little comment - the slinger figure looks a little static. Not really like he's putting his back into the throw.
Think you're right Forbes.
Perhaps should have used the 'chucking a grenade/spear' dolly. :-\
If memory serves me correctly, (HAH !) the line drawing of the slinger wasn't particularly animated, and I was simply in 'copying mode'.
Cheers - Phil
Worryingly good sculpts! I really, really don't need another period at the moment!
Superb stuff, I'll look forward to painting up some of these 8)
After your absolutely superb job on the Gauls....I can't wait to see what you'll do with these, Matt ! =P~ =P~
Cheers - Phil.
Why can't I find a piccy of the painted Gauls in 'the shop' ? :-\
Me, not looking in the right place ? (Probably.... X_X)
Cheers - Phil

They're lurking in Early Imperial waiting to spring upon the unwary😀😀
These are amazing. Looking forward to their release.

Thanks, Vic.
Thought it was probably (almost certainly) yours truly getting it wrong,
again. :'( :'( :'(
Cheers - Phil
These look great - if only someone would make werewolves that good
oh oh oh .... these look fun. Very nice indeed
They're going to look even better painted. :)
Good to see Aztecs. Cant wait till they are ready for sale! Great looking figs :)
Dave's moulding these while we're closed so they should be ready for release in the next couple of weeks.

These really are nice - some (more) lovely figures to tempt the wallet.
Just one quick question - do they have any enemies already on the
Pendraken shelf ?
On the fantasy front, I have Warmaster Lizards, so could use a proxy list
for the Aztecs.
From a quick squint at Wikipedia, it appears that their historical enemies
would be rival city states (who, I assume, would use similar weapons) or
the Spanish.
This is the first time I've even looked at a potential Aztec army so would
be interested to hear from those with more know how.

From my own limited knowledge, they can fight themselves in localised tribal conflicts as you say so that's one option. They can also fight sections of our Elizabethan range but we'd need to add some specific Conquistador sculpts to complete that range.

Has anyone explained to Dave what being
closed means ;)
Not you Leon, you don't appear to understand either ;D

Unfortunately with Dave working the day job still, he has to go in over the breaks to keep on top of his workload. We're working on fixing that though, we had a new caster start before Xmas and there's another starting on Jan 9th.
I struggle to take time off, I get bored sitting around and usually do some work to avoid having a massive pile to do when we go back.

Ooooh,yes please. Can we take this as a promise . . . ?
Cheers, M.

Great to hear you are able to add more casters and so hopefully will spread the workload :)
I'm surprised M'Lady hasn't got a long list of things for you to do ;)
All your and the team's efforts are much appreciated

I did get drafted into wrapping some presents but luckily it was only a few. I'm wanting to do a 19th C. diorama this winter but I've not found time to get it started yet, maybe next week before we go back to work properly.

This page might be useful for budding Aztec generals :

Nice find Glorfindel, thanks!
That is one very useful link. Thanks for sharing. Some of the descriptions could easily be used with fantasy armies, so may come back to this in the future.
Time to post this one again, now that we're all getting out our obsidian paintbrushes:
http://www.chronofus.net/wargames/aztecs/Mendoza.pdf
When I clicked on the link I got a nasty big read screen with loads of safety warnings about the site!
I get that too - just tested. I can only say I have visited it a lot in the past. :o
Just google the Mendoza Codex. It's not classified information.
I suspect it had a security certificate which has expired, seen that before on safe sites. Also it directs to a PDF, not a web site, so you are safe, code cant be transferred from it.
Another resource I saw and forgot and glad to get back. Thanks, Kitty.
Purrrrr.
I can email a saved copy to anyone who needs it, btw.
It might well exceed the buffer size though !
Nah, I emailed it to myself a few years ago.
Did say "might"
IanS
Kitty,
The PDF is a reconstruction of the original Tribute Cities folios. Some other parts may exist. Does your copy have more than the Tribute Cities?
Just the tribute info.
Thanks
