This occurred to me last night.
You know what would be very useful?
Woodland Indians armed with bows and melee weapons.
The musket armed ones are very nice, but apart from one pose they're all armed with (you've guessed it) muskets. Some warriors armed with bows, spears, clubs and tomahawks would be nice to give the musket figures some variation. It would also be useful if you wanted to build a pre-gunpowder Indian force to fight some of the early battles against Elizabethan settlers.
On another note I think there is a general lack of non-ancient 'native' people figures.
Steeleye is hoping to span periods with this suggestion.
Get your coat, Bob ! X_X

Skrælings versus Vikings!
Yus! +1 that suggestion!
Techno - it was worth a punt just to see if anyone else out there could relate to 70s folk-rock.
I am the Dark Lord of Pendraken,
And I have come to visit thee."
"You must go with me Techno," he said,
True Techno you must go with me;
And must serve me seven years,
Through well or woe, as chance may be."
Hark and come, come along with me,
Techno the Sculptor!

perhaps a pentangle would protect us from puns like that
I second the non musket armed indians too

All around my mat,
I will stick the green putty,
And all around my mat,
For too many hours a day,
And if anyone should ask me,
The reason why I'm doing it,
It's all for the Dark Lord, who's far, far away.
:D (Maddy Prior, eat your heart out !)
Do not take the name of the great Maddy Prior in vain!
I forgot about Injuns v Vikings but that's a good idea!
Techno Scuplting
(With apologies to Ralph McTell)
Doesn't it move you just a little bit?
And if you watch I think the chance is
That it will lift your heart a little bit
Ooh, well I mean, when Techno's sculpting
Ooh, well I mean, when Techno's sculpting
And when he turns his head a little bit
Don't you just love them side-long glances
Surely he lifts your heart a little bit
Ooh, well I mean, when Techno's sculpting
Ooh, well I mean, when Techno's sculpting
Clear the desk just a little
And let that putty move around
Play the right kind of music
To get it 10 mill off of the ground
Look at him sculpting sure and lightly
Ooh, I can swear you must be sleeping
If it don't lift your heart just slightly
Ooh, well I mean, when Techno's sculpting
Ooh, well I mean, when Techno's sculpting
Steeleye (oh - and nice through back reference, Leman!)
I like your idea and would join your request. I had looked at these guys a while back, but since I needed them for 17th century North America they were too fire power heavy (although totally good for 1755). The fellow with the war club is perfect.
I don't like asking for much since we now have casualty markers for ECW and that was huge!
I was flipping through a copy of Wargames Illustrated in Smiths the other day and saw an article on Woodlands Indians cover the period before the widespread introduction of firearms...I almost bought a copy!
I'd be up for some of these. Non-musket armed would be very useful, to extend their use back several hundred years.

And also useful in fantasy games
