Don't tell me anything about the movie except;
Is is good?
Does it wipe away the disgrace of the 1998 one?

For the best Big G film, and Mothra too, see GMK - aka Godzilla, Mothra, King Ghidorah: Giant Monster All-Out Attack.

Officially, the new one is 350 feet tall, apparently. I'm not keen on the rising sizes - it's harder to interact with the surroundings. They already addressed that in Godzilla vs. Destoroyah, by 'passing on' Godzilla's power to a smaller version of himself...

To late they've beat us to it;

A bit too tall if anything, but a lot cheaper than a metal one would be!

They've hit Godzilla with a micro black hole before. He'd barely even notice a few dozen cruise missiles...

The answer you seek to the Godzilla question is YES !!!!!!!

It does wipe out the 1998 one and is like the original and I will be buying it as soon as it is on DVD

the model shown is only 24 inches tall so leon we still need a 1/150th

Went to see it last night,and overall I was impressed. Story wise it was just OK, but Gareth Edwards clearly understands what a Godzilla movie is and did a great job. If anything it could have done with a wee bit more of the King of the monsters himself.
In all it did make up for the 1998 movie (which is better considered just a monster attacking a city movie, its not a Godzilla movie in any real sense).
