Well, if NATO ever need a "rapid response unit" to send anywhere, the Pendraken forum can provide. I am still working through the books, as the academia is first to go - a quite a few first editions, and dealer interest. Those interested in the uniforms should have a personal email by now.
A list of the 6mm range of dwellings (some based in mini-diorama ) should be on this thread by the weekend. I did not expect so much interest in the 6mm, on a 10mm site!
I have also naval units - a genuine 1/300 Lingberg Delong destroyer, (now $70 Stateside) and several other ships in 1/350 blogged/converted up to 6mm.- How these would survive postage, I have no idea.

Please bear with me. The stress of retirement is raising my blood pressure.
Thanks again to Pendraken for letting me use the forum.

James, I thought retirement was supposed to be good for the blood pressure - certainly has been in my case. I hope yours is long and thoroughly enjoyable.
As to the "please bear with me" I'm sure that while the forum may have some of the "fastest fingers on the Net" it also has some of the most relaxed and affable people too. Good things come to those who wait and all that. :)
To use a local expression ... lang may yer lum reek!
Thanks Mike. Part of the hassle is we have lived in the same house for 24 years. When a stone does not roll, it gathers moss, books, wargame figures, and stuff.
When we moved every couple of years - we had no such baggage.
When my wife and I parted company and sold the marital home we'd been there around 24 years too - I think I can both empathise and sympathise!

Are you trying to tell us that you chose a new house with no room for a wargames table? That would be a major blunder. ;)
Welcome to the retired state, however. You'll be amazed how quickly everything slows down when the compulsion to earn a crust is removed.
Oh yes, room for a table. But will downsize to 10mm - maybe keep a few 6mm.... They don't take up much space.
Anyway, I took a chill pill from the disposal to seek a wargame with a neighbour. He has no 10mm of his own - own s a much treasured collection of 25mm Foundry ECW crafted by the Perry twins- but at least give me an opponent who understands dice and rules. - If not 20th century firepower.
He agreed to a game on the condition that I look at his ride on lawnmower that wouldn't start. I obliged. It only needed the plug cleaned and soon he was racing around the lawns like Jason Button.
It gave me an idea for a cracker game however. 1960s scenario. Third world dictatorship has rearmed with new AML90s and Scorpions - the obsolete and non operational AFVs have been consigned to export as scrap . (these can be WW2 tanks such as M4 Sherman or Cromwell etc)
The rebel force hires a few mechanical mercenaries to salvage the AFVs (the fledgling IDF did exactly this in 1948). The repair potential of the vehicle is determined by dice. 1 = seized engine block. 2 = transmission problem - fixable in 3 moves, 3= engine running but turret jammed
4= running but no tracks, 5 = need new batteries, 6= good to go.
The Barrie figure (FLB 36) makes an excellent mechanical expert as do other para figures. The French Indo China range doubled as the Red Force and a mix of marines and commandos made up the indigenous rebels.
A good game ensued with the rebels holding a key bridge to the docks as Barrie and his mates worked under pressure.
Sounds like a lot of fun ;)
Not sure Barrie would have enjoyed that! ;)
Don't cry for Barrie, he got $100k into his Swiss bank account. And all for changing a plug in a Sherman. No pressure !
