Despite recent reports I am not dead, just busy playing with 28 and 15mm stuff
I thought some of you might be interested to see this blog post about how I've used printable magnetic sheets to make multi scale, multi period buildings.
I've got another 4 structures to build and dozens of facades in mind ranging from 10mm through to 28mm......keep watching :-)

Ingenious idea, Craig. A real space-saver.
Brilliant 8).
Thats a really good idea.
Smart idea that is!
Cheers,
Rob
cracking idea!
An interesting idea - I take it the main advantage is on storage space? As cost wise the magnetic sheet vs the foam core is about evens.
I was sort of expecting to see you using smaller pieces of printed magnetic sheet to add extras to the pre-existing buildings. I suppose you can still do this - have a row of shops, then have extra magnetic signs to move the shops from England to France to Germany?
Hi Fred,
Yes space is the biggest factor with this system allowing me to only have half a dozen physical structures, but potentially dozens of buildings. Your right about smaller sections to make signs and other custom bits and pieces, in fact I already have a stick on bank sign and cash pointto turn the 28mm house into a dilapidated bank. Next up is a small building which will be both a hotel annex and a workshop.
Cheers
