Title: 10mm Zulus
Post by: smokie gunner on 04 May 2014, 03:39:55 PM
Here is a modified 10mm Zulu Induna from Perrin/Magister Militum for the mix.
Sorry, Leon, I haven't painted any of my Pendraken Zulus yet!

Nicely done, although did Isandlwhana shrink a tad in the wash?

I've been a nudist for the last 35 years. One forgets other people's prudery.

Of course, it's the Father Ted thing about near and far away. Nice model, shop or homemade?

Thanks for the kind comments, folks.
The figure was a bog standard Perrin Zulu.  To convert him into an induna I had to sculpt an otter skin head band with two crane feathers, cow tail cape, full kilt of civet tails, and cow tails to the legs.  Painting the kilt was easy - 12 years ago - but my eyes would be hard pressed to accomplish the same feat now!
The crane feathers are green stuff with no wire support; very floppy and flexible with no problems, yet.  Oooops, I hope I didn't jinx it!
