Interesting that it will not be card driven. I tried to like Maurice, but it just didn't grab me. Maybe Blucher will... :-\.

The same for me.
I didn't like Maurice, ( I do like M&R )

We'll keep an eye on it.

Thank you.

Similarly I found Maurice difficult to deal with, yet I love Longstreet. Can't really put my finger on what went wrong or why they seem so different. However I find the SYW using Black Powder a much more enjoyable experience. Maybe I just don't want my brain fried when I'm wargaming.

These prices get more crazy every week, not going to be spending my pennies at that price I'm afraid. :(

The rules are £28 - it's only with the cards that it is £50+. I think the cards are to give you ready to play armies - so not really needed here, where we all have (or want) lots of lovely Pendraken figures.

I too liked the idea of Maurice, but we found it ultimately gave an odd sort of game. I think mainly due to the cards.

£28 is pretty much the norm for rules these days, so I guess not as bad as first expected, still give it a miss tho.

Me too!  Bought it as another option for using my 6mm figures bought for C&C Napoleonics. As they are mass based they should work perfectly.

I probably will get them, but will be using wooden blocks  the size of cards just for something different

£28.00 for the rules ... the wargames standard; PDF available from US $29.00

£24.00 for THREE (3) Waterloo Armies printed onto cards ... not necessary BUT very useful; will play well for hidden movement or travelling salesmen. How much do you pay for ONE (1) Pendraken Waterloo army?  :o

US players have an even better deal as they get rules, armies and PDF for the same combo price ... lucky boys. ???

Well fortunately my regular opponent has bought the bundle so I can give them a go without forking out. If any good will use my 6mm Peninsular War stuff with them.

I'm liking them - got the rulebook (will probably pick up the 100 Days cards at some point though) & will be doing French & Austrian in 2mm - and then "zoom in" for 10mm battles (using Black Powder I think)

I was annoyed that US customers got the best deal from Sam when Maurice came out....seems a bit tedious to differentiate your customer base (especially when you're essentially offering an electronic item as the 'bonus')
