Please do not be diverted by his Totty wife in a tight jumpsuit :d
I'm sorry, why were we looking at a hot blonde in a tight superhero costume again?

That's the wrong assumption to take, apparently he's against the Tea Party because they're too left wing.
Whatever next? They'll be playing with toy soldiers soon.... :o :o :o :o :o :o
Minds eye stuff is pretty crappy compared to most LARPs, no real combat (they use paper, stone scissors to resolve combat and skills) plus its based on the world of darkness system, so there's always plenty of pretentious vampire twats on hand, so seeing as though he's a politician, it makes total sense!! ;)
Still, you have to admire the guy for the potential good he'll do for the LARP hobby as a whole, so much kudos to him (and his missus for her champion norks...! :P)
It does still wind me up how Live roleplaying has all of a sudden become LARP over here now, when back in the day (in the UK) it was always LRP? (Old LRPer here I'm afraid...)
I give it about 18 months before politicians over here see it as a good idea to raise their public profile... I can just see Nick Clegg as a hobbit.

Not really, and all the other current politicos don't rate much more than a load of goblins, small malignant and hoping to grow up to be orcs.
As for heros or even real villains in the Maggie mold NOTHING.
Rather a depressing view of current politics, think I need more Sunday evening beer. :D
