From the perspective of POW's but also the Japanese... :-\
The Japanese perspective will be interesting. When at Uni our head of the workshop had been a PoW of the Japanese and some 40 years later still struggled to talk to anyone remotely 'oriental' as the scars ran so deep :(.
I hope the programme pays due credit to the fact that Asian casualties on those projects were about ten times higher than Caucasian ones. Ugh, some of us have led sheltered lives, haven't we? Thank heavens.
