I an interested in the Bolt Action Rules, but as I do not own them I wanted to know could you use 10mm miniatures?
Hoagie
Dont see why not...the ranges might make more sense in 10mm
There is a growing number of games being played in 15mm for just that reason (weapon ranges feel more appropriate to the smaller scale of figures).
However you can expect to be frowned upon by sections of the Warlord Community for heresy! And if you even thought about posting pics of figures from other manufacturers it is punishibale by death :D
I have pilloried BA quite publicly on occasion however IMO it is still quite a fun game to play if you have the right opponent or are playing solo and want quick and dirty hollywood style game play. I have used house rules quite liberally
I using BA for 15mm Sci-Fi :-bd
Did a test game in 10mm - sold rules back to Amazon immediately afterwards. But yes works fine in smaller scales. I now need to try CoC.

Agreed Ian.
CoC is a superior game by far in terms of accuracy, the way it portrays platoon level combat etc.
Depends what you want from a game. I love Chain of Command, but find it takes a whole evening to set up and play. It also requires a live opponent. With BA I can get in two games in the same period of time, can pick up and play with minimal wasted time writing army lists and it lends itself to solo play - all of which are compelling reasons to play BA IMO.
I have both and play both in equal amounts depending upon my time availability, mood and opponent!
And BA has broken my gaming duck this year so hats off to that!
