Title: The Battle of Umbilo
Post by: FierceKitty on 27 March 2014, 08:19:48 AM
The rules place some stress on not losing built-up areas to enemy action; bad for morale. Now there's always a force in reserve, in defiance of the first rule of wargaming (Thou shalt not do anything as rational as keeping a reserve).

And not a spare round to be had anywhere. We couldn't even 'it one of our own lads laying out range markers! A sad day in Siamese wargaming.

Cor, strike me dead, guv. Some blighter's screwed down the lids on the ammo boxes. An entertaining, if somewhat shortlived, engagement, FK. Not sure the Queen-Empress will entrust you with another of her expeditionary forces.  ;)
