When he delivered a letter to Techno Towers today, addressed to
"Lieutenant General Phil Lewis........." :o :o :o
You know who you are.... ;) ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Cheers - Phil
Surely it should have been "Lieutenant General Sir Phil Lewis"?
=O =O =O :-h
The "Right Honourable Lieutenant General Sir Phil Lewis" surely
You missed "Most Reverend" and "Dr." out ;)
It was a damn sight better than an old colleague who used to address his letters to me, when I lived in Notts, as...........
No...I'm not going to tell you.....That used to make me wince as to what the postie thought then ! X_X X_X X_X X_X X_X
Cheers - Phil.
We also used to be very creative when filling out bank orders for friends, hobbymates etc., especially the payment description part... That no inquiries into their behaviour were ever started still wonders me. :d
Cheers!
Rob
How funny is that ;D ;D ;D

Multi Posable Model photographer?
I still get the occasional parcel addressed to Flickin' Ell! which was a business name linked to my Paypal account when I used to paint and sell Subbuteo Teams
Thats a cracking name for a subbuteo business Nosher!
I started painting my Boro team in 1987 and still have 9 left to do!
When I were a little lad, I got a barman job at the local TA bar in Sheffield. Pride of place was a board of honour listing all the colonels of the local battallion. It went something like ...
Lt Col Sir Phil Lewis VD
Lt Col Archibald Fenton VD
Col Lemmey Nutter VD
Lt Col Sir B Igboss VD
...
Apparently they'd all been awarded the "Voluntary Decoration" (or that's what they told me.)
Do you think all the ladies of the town used to clap them when they got it?
Did piss off postie, have my Mongols??
