Title: Revell Chinese Pirate Junk
Post by: GrumpyOldMan on 07 March 2014, 11:20:20 PM
Hi All

I've entered the re-issue of this kit into Revell's Ideas page http://ideas.revell.de/ideas/item/616/ (http://ideas.revell.de/ideas/item/616/), sort of a suggestion box. I've come across a single example up for sale at 20 quid, maybe if you Mongol lovers out there (after all how can you invade Japan without naval transport  :) ) can support it maybe we can get it re-issued.

If you register at the site you can also put in your own ideas, like 1/144 cog, bireme, longship etc.

Cheers

We can probably get those through our supplier, so I'll have a check and see if we can get some stock in.

I think they're out of production, certainly for the viking ship.

The kit was released in 1994 and I think has been out of production for a long time. There's not even many floating around ebay or other similar outlets. I probably walked past dozens in years gone past before I knew I wanted some  #-o #-o #-o

Cheers

That is lovely. :)

I've got two Revell Batvia ships for my WM Empire army: they really add something to games don't you think?

Not just yet, only got back from the WMMS show a couple of hours ago!  One day left in the office tomorrow to get all the emails sorted and orders left out for the casting lads, and then I'll be off from Tuesday to Tuesday (Weddings on Wednesday!)

Will do!  Adele will be joining me at the Phalanx show this year, if you're heading over to it?
